RESEARCH EXPERIENCES:
About four (5) years research experience in the field of crop science (Agronomy, Weed Science, Crop physiology), Integrated Pest Management and Genetics & Plant Breeding on rapeseed (Brassica spp.), mungbean, sorghum and different vegetables.

  • Field Research on Response of rapeseed line SAU-C-F7 to different row spacing and level of irrigation at the Department of Agronomy, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
  • On-farm research on Integrated Pest Management of different Vegetables in coordination with IPM CRSP, Virginia Tech, USA.

On-going Researches:

  • Study on the salinity, cold and anoxic stress on the morphological, physiological and anatomical changes in rice.
  • Integrated Weed Management of transplanted rice.

On-going Project:
Consumption of Maize – An Alternative Food habit to improve Food Security in the Hilly areas of Bangladesh. Funded by the National Food Security Capacity Strengthening Programme (NFPCSP), MoA/FAO/USAID/European Commission.
