Mst. Armina Sultana is an Assistant Professor at Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU), Bangladesh. She graduated from the same university with a B.Sc. (Hon’s) in Fisheries and an M.Sc. in Aquatic Resource Management. For her academic excellence, she was awarded the Prime Minister’s Gold Medal,the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, and the University Award. Her Masters’ thesis explored the ecosystem services in the Meghna river basin of Bangladesh. She also worked as a research assistant for the ECOFISHBD project at WorldFish Bangladesh. Her research focuses on ecosystem-based management of aquatic resources, ecosystem services, climate change implications, gender issues in small-scale fisheries.
