“The world is full of nice people. If you cannot find one, be one.” My great passion to see nice people everywhere. Hello, this is Shah Alamgir; I did my Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Science from the University of Tsukuba, prior to I obtained my first degree in Agricultural Economics, and received a Master of Science in Agricultural Finance. Later I went to the University of Tsukuba and did my second Master of Agricultural Science. I completed my postdoctoral training at the Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS). During my stay in Tsukuba Science City, I worked in the Social Science Division, Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS) as a research staff. I received several fellowships and awards through my academic career, joined some professional conferences, and publish peer-reviewed journal articles. I have research interests that cover several aspects of climate change impact, agricultural production, farm income, food security, and poverty. In my Ph.D. research, I checked the regional vulnerability and poverty due to climate change impact on agricultural production in Bangladesh. At present, I am working as a faculty member at the Department of Agricultural Finance and Banking, Sylhet Agricultural University.
