| Brief description of the hall: |
| Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall is the only girl's residential hall of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University that was named after Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib, wife of Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation and mother of Sheikh Hasina Wazed, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for the memory of her sacrifice to the nation. The hall is a four storied building having 70 rooms capacitated with 280 seats. There are 3 rooms assigned as office room, one of each room used as guest room, prayer room, reading room, TV room and dinning room. There are altogether 30 staff working here for 692 students. Different cultural activities takes place in the hall those organized by different cultural organizations of the hall. To add beauty and increase aesthetic pleasure, different flower plants and valuable trees are available in the hall surroundings. |

There is a dinning hall managed by staff runs in the hall under the supervision of an Assistant Provost. In considering the demand of the students, there is a canteen in the hall from where students can take their breakfast as well as other snacks as and when necessary. For the convenience of students there is an intercom phone in the hall premises. Students can use this facility according to their needs. There is a television for the entertainment of the students. Daily, weekly Bengali and English newspapers and magazines are supplied in the room. Due to the increase of students number, there is a reading room arranged for the students so that they can read in calm atmosphere. Here students can study any time of day and night. There is a room ear-marked for offering prayers. |
