Research Experience

Project	: Mechanism of protein import in intermembrane space of chloroplasts under the supervision of Prof. Enrico Schleiff at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany In this project I construct basic vectors for the expression of GFP- tagged proteins in plant. Using this vector I cloned putatively organellar homologs of Hsp 70 family from Arabidopsis and investigated their intracellular localization in a transient expression system in protoplast. In a second project, I also optimized the heterologous expression of recombinant Toc 64 in E. coli and participated in the purification of Toc 64 antibodies.
