- Performed Master degree research on “Vesicular-Arbuscular mycorrizal inoculum potential in cultivated and virgin soils of Queensland with different cropping history of chickpea” in the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.
- Performed Ph.D. research on “ Influenence of crop residues and nitrification inhibitors on some soil enzymes and nitrogen utilization in rice-wheat cropping system” in Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India.
- Supervised more than 10 Master degree students in conducting research experiments and writing dissertation.
- Working as a Principal Investigator (Project Director) of a research project on “ Processing an d use of crop residues, sugar mill wastes and tannery wastes as a source of plant nutrients and their effect on soil quality” sponsored by Ministry of Science and Information & Communication Technology, Govt. of Bangladesh in the financial yeat 2008-2009.

(a) Worked as the Chairman (Head) of the Department of Soil Science from 01-01-04 to 31-12-05 andd guided the teachers, students and employees to run the department properly.
(b) Served as the Provost (Head) of a girl’s residential hostel of the university from 01-04-06 to 30-04-08 and managed the student’s residential facilities.
(c) Worked as a member of undergraduate and postgraduate course-curricula committees.
- Has been working as the Chairman of Internet Management Committee of the university since January, 2004 and developed fibre optic backbone network with about 100 personal computers connected with internet.
- has been working as the Director (Finance and Accounts) as an extra duty since 10-02-2009 and looks after overall income and expenditure of the university
