Welcome to the Faculty of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences of Sylhet Agricultural University.
The Faculty was founded in 2007 to meet the increasing demand for skilled agricultural graduates.
There is a growing demand for graduates with degrees in fisheries and related fields, and this faculty is here to meet that demand.
The Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Business Studies comprises five academic departments.
Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (FAET) was established in 2011, Sylhet Agricultural University’s FAET is fifth faculty.
Faculty of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering was established with the vision that SAU will lead the forefront in education and research in the fields of Life Science.

From its inception in 2006, Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) has the mandate to become the flagship university in the arena of agricultural education, research and innovation in Bangladesh and beyond. Thus, it is equally important for us to be close to the interest of our communities within Bangladesh and internationally. To achieve this, we are continually working in partnership with local and international partners, governments, communities, and allied educational institutions.
